About The Role
We are seeking a highly qualified New Products Senior Developer to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of new FMCG products from initial idea and concept validation to full commercial launch.
This role requires a strong technical background, financial awareness, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful, high-quality product launches.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development
- Lead the full product development life cycle from concept to market launch
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis
- Ensure alignment between product concept, market positioning, and profitability
- Manage cross-functional coordination across departments
Packaging & Technical Oversight
- Oversee development of primary and secondary packaging
- Ensure technical compliance and functionality of packaging materials
- Collaborate with suppliers on packaging specifications
Regulatory & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with NFSA and/or EDA regulations
- Apply risk management tools to guarantee high-quality product launches
- Monitor product documentation and regulatory readiness
Financial & Commercial Alignment
- Analyze COGS and evaluate impact on retail pricing
- Support pricing strategy decisions through financial insight
- Negotiate effectively with suppliers and partners
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
- 45 years of proven experience in launching FMCG products
- Strong knowledge of the Product Development Life Cycle
- Good experience in packaging (primary & secondary)
- Familiarity with project management tools
- Awareness of NFSA and/or EDA regulations
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of COGS
- Familiarity with risk management tools
- High English proficiency
- Very good negotiation skills
Working Conditions
- Working Hours: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM or 10:00 AM 6:00 PM
- Days Off: Fridays & Saturdays
- Location: Sheikh Zayed, Cairo
