Role Overview
The Finance 360, which is a Dubai-based media house, is seeking a confident, credible, and insightful Finance News Presenter & Writer to anchor finance-led video content and produce sharp, accurate written stories for our digital platforms.
The ideal candidate understands global markets, can explain complex financial stories clearly, and is comfortable delivering news on camera with authority and ease.
This role sits at the intersection of journalism, markets, and digital media.
Key Responsibilities:
On-Camera Presentation
- Anchor daily or weekly finance news segments and explainer videos
- Present global market updates, breaking financial news, and in-depth explainers
- Conduct interviews with economists, analysts, founders, and policymakers
- Attend and interview panelists, financial leaders, and company CEOs at events
- Maintain calm, professional delivery during breaking or volatile market stories
Writing & Editorial -
- Write clear, engaging finance news articles, scripts, and market explainers
- Translate complex economic and financial data into audience-friendly content
- Contribute to story ideation, headlines, and editorial planning
- Ensure factual accuracy, compliance, and editorial integrity
Research & Analysis
- Track global markets, central banks, geopolitics, and macroeconomic trends
- Monitor equities, commodities, crypto, FX, and policy developments
- Use reputable sources such as central banks, multilateral institutions, and financial data providers
Digital & Production Collaboration
- Work closely with producers, editors, and social media teams
- Adapt content for short-form video, social platforms, and web publishing
- Support live or recorded studio production as required
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in Journalism, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in financial journalism, news presenting, or market analysis
- Strong understanding of:
Global markets and macroeconomics
Central banks and monetary policy
Corporate earnings, equities, and commodities
Excellent on-camera presence and voice delivery
Strong writing and editorial judgment
Ability to explain complex topics simply and accurately
Comfortable working under deadlines and breaking-news conditions
Preferred Attributes
- Experience with TV, digital news, or financial media platforms
- Familiarity with Middle East markets is a strong plus
- Knowledge of crypto, fintech, or emerging markets
- Ability to build audience trust and credibility
- Confident, composed, and curious mindset
