At Amazon, we are going through an exciting period of growth. That's precisely why we're seeking a Non-Inventory-Receiver (NIR) to join our Site Procurement Operations team. Every day we work across different enthusiastic teams to exceed our customer expectations, fulfilling thousands of orders with the desired velocity and the highest quality.

The Non-Inventory Receiver (NIR) will work as a part of a team of Amazon Associates, and reports to the site/country procurement manager (SPM/CPM). The roles responsibility includes receipt and the storage of non-inventory items including; shipping supplies, and other goods and consumables, as specified by the SPM/CPM; sending different daily reports that reflects all the required details on the stock material on the site's(s) floor. The job includes supervising other fulfillment center associates, delegating activities and acting as a focal point for all details related to the non-inventory items in stock.

Key job responsibilities

  • Operating different PIT equipment.
  • Loading/unloading trucks of non-inventory material
  • Moving and storing pallets in the designated areas.
  • Organizing and maintaining adequate stock-levels of site consumables.
  • Accurately performing system inputs that reflects the received items. (data entry into Coupa).
  • Researching and troubleshooting non-inventory shipments.
  • Supporting in payment inquiries from account payable (AP) team, the supplier or other stakeholders.
  • Perform daily cycle counts for the items in stock, do inputs in the designated platforms and shared spreadsheets.
  • Submit daily quality reports in the designated platforms.
  • Promptly raise flags to SPO/GPCS teams and leadership whenever risk is identified that affects material availability, quality and/or safety.
  • Acting as the site consumables POC. Monitoring and leading team of associates to perform the required activities.
  • Contribute in, and lead the assigned activities by SPO/GPCS/Category management to deliver shipping-supplies initiatives and projects.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP, ORACLE, Coupa) in large organizations
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Ability to develop and maintain inventory control systems, along with the ability to analyze inventory data and recommend necessary changes and improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in warehouse operations and logistics or equivalent
  • Training Certificates covering spoken/written English and Microsoft office applications.
