As Nuclear Engineering Lead you will be responsible to lead the Nuclear Engineering function of Worley team and subcontractors providing direct interface with the Customer and their personnel.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Organizes and leads Worley Nuclear Engineering team to help the Customer ensure the project is effectively and technically developed to meet the contract and standards requirements, local and international codes, timeline and budget during all project phases design, installation, testing and commissioning.
- Responsible for providing the necessary technical support and input to Worley Project Manager and team.
- Represents Worley Nuclear Engineering at internal & external meetings on the project.
- Ensures Worley Nuclear Engineering systems and procedures are developed and rolled out for the project and work is performed in accordance with Worley internal processes and procedures.
- Responsible for ensuring that no technical changes are implemented without prior approval as per EPC contract procedure and regulatory requirements.
- Ensures that the Worley technical team and any 3rd party subcontractors adhere to the overall project execution plan and project quality.
- Performs reviews of safety analysis report (PSAR, FSAR) and PSA related documentation.
- Reviews design basis documents and calculations pertaining to vendor design.
- Reviews nuclear safety assessments.
- Reviews safety and hazard assessments for nuclear processes and systems.
- Monitors construction of NPP's; develops comments pertaining to non-compliance with design.
- Reviews as-built design drawings and modification of nuclear systems.
Experience And Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Nuclear Engineering is a must.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in the nuclear sector, with senior management responsibilities over corporate functions, including at least one role as Senior Manager, Head or Deputy Head of the Reactor shop, or NPP Shift supervisor in a nuclear operating organisation.
- Strong technical skills; 10+ years of experience in nuclear engineering on large scale projects and management of multi-cultural teams.

- Ability to communicate, influence and persuade.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential, understanding of Russian is a plus.
- Prudent use of confidential information.
- Ability to work and interact with multidiscipline teams.
- Awareness of project estimates and budgets.
- Experience in safety and thermal-hydraulic analysis.
