We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Obstetrics & Gynecologist to provide comprehensive medical care related to pregnancy, childbirth, and female reproductive health. The ideal candidate will diagnose and treat gynecological conditions, manage normal and high-risk pregnancies, and perform surgical and non-surgical procedures in accordance with UAE healthcare standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Obstetrics Duties
- Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care
- Manage normal and high-risk pregnancies
- Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
- Monitor fetal development and maternal health
- Handle obstetric emergencies
Gynecology Duties
- Diagnose and treat gynecological disorders
- Conduct routine gynecological examinations and screenings
- Perform gynecological surgeries and procedures (e.g., hysterectomy, laparoscopy, D&C)
- Manage infertility, menstrual disorders, and menopause
- Provide family planning and contraceptive counseling
General Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
- Collaborate with nurses, anesthetists, pediatricians, and other specialists
- Follow hospital policies, clinical protocols, and UAE health regulations
- Participate in continuous medical education and audits
- Ensure patient safety and high-quality care standards
Qualifications & Requirements:
- MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree
- Postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Minimum 35 years of post-specialization experience (more for Consultant level)
- Strong clinical, surgical, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and patient-care abilities
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in minimally invasive gynecological surgery
- Ability to manage high-risk obstetric cases
- Multilingual communication skills (Arabic is an advantage)
- Strong teamwork and leadership skills
