Job Overview

This role involves overseeing the design, development, and implementation of Odoo-based solutions, ensuring technical excellence, and aligning development activities with business goals. The Odoo Team Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high performing, and secure systems.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor Odoo developers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and support to ensure consistent coding standards.
  • Design, develop, and customize Odoo modules to meet business requirements while maintaining high-quality, efficient, and scalable code.
  • Oversee and participate in end-to-end system integrations with third-party fintech and business applications.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into effective Odoo solutions.
  • Define and implement best practices for Odoo development, testing, deployment, and documentation.
  • Review and optimize existing Odoo modules and workflows to enhance performance and user experience.
  • Ensure proper version control, deployment procedures, and continuous improvement of development processes.
  • Identify and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring system reliability and smooth operation.
  • Work closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure stable, secure, and scalable environments.
  • Stay up to date with Odoo releases and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the system's capabilities.

Required Skills

  • Previous experience leading or mentoring developers is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of the Odoo framework (v10+), with experience in module customization and integration.
  • Proficiency in Python and PostgreSQL, with a solid understanding of Odoo ORM.
  • Experience in developing and deploying Odoo modules and third-party integrations.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
  • Experience in the fintech industry, including familiarity with payment gateways and financial workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Odoo certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge of fintech security standards and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in hands-on Odoo development.
