Job Description

The OEM Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in the organization by bringing new customers on board travelling in select regions in the Middle East, and acts as a center point between the company and customers for all requirements. The company is a 30-year-old organization from India that recently started operations in Croatia and is seeking a dynamic, sales-driven person to fill this position.

What You'll Do

Sales Planning (Go to Market)

  • Develop and execute strategies for both retention and expansion of current accounts and acquisition of new OEM customers.
  • Align plans with local compliance requirements and company objectives.

New Market Analysis & Customer Relationship Management

  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities in select Middle East regions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing OEM clients and utilities.
  • Understand local regulatory frameworks (CE marking, IEC standards) and ensure product compliance.

Sales Performance

  • Track performance for both existing and new business segments.
  • Analyze trends and competitor activities to optimize growth strategies.

Key Accounts Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for existing OEM clients.
  • Drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities within current accounts.

Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new OEM partnerships and strategic alliances across select Middle East regions.
  • Develop proposals and negotiate contracts for new business.

What You'll Bring

  • Any Engineering graduate.
  • 56+ years of experience in technical sales and business development in the electrical grid/transformer industry. (Electrical Equipment and components sales background is highly preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of instrument transformer products and local Middle Eastern compliance standards.
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and strategic planning skills.
  • Ability to travel across select Middle East regions
  • Must be able to speak English
