Role Summary:

Responsible for assisting the Team Leader - Due Diligence and Senior Officer - Due Diligence in the performance of the due diligence and monitoring processes on new company, member or other business stakeholder applications, amendments and other submissions to ensure company operations are compliant and to maintain DMCCA's reputation as a free zone authority that upholds the highest standards of regulation. Responsible for assisting and supporting the Head of Compliance Operations in respect to various AML CFT workshops & specific AML/CFT inspections on DMCC member companies, delivering further guidance, information, and supervision of DNFBPs. Dealing with external government bodies. Supporting Head of Compliance Operations in designing and developing a regulatory policy framework.

Key Responsibilities:

Ongoing Regulations FATF Key Tasks Work with Ministry of Economy and Head of Compliance Operations to ensure inspections are undertaken in a structured manner on DNFBPs (DMCC Member Companies) to comply with UAE AML/CFT laws.
Support Head of Compliance operations on delivering further guidance, information, and supervision of DNFBPs. Review existing DNFBP sectors and underlying licenses to ensure registration on goAML.
Support Head of Compliance operations to ensure inspections are undertaken in a structured manner on DNFBPs (DMCC member companies) to comply with AML/CFT laws.
Creation of awareness for DNFBPs on AML/CFT requirements / obligation. Co-ordinating with Ministry of Economy for identification of DNFBPs and registration on goAML. Undertaking the task to create awareness among DNFBPs on AML/CFT requirements / obligation.
Ensure that Letters of Undertaking are either added or amended to advise Companies that choose licenses which fall under specific DNFBP sectors of their AML/CFT legal obligations. Delivery of reports required by Ministry of Economy on DNFBPs.
Support DMCC AML/CFT team in FATF mutual evaluation readiness project including attendance at workshops and completing reports and other provision of other requested information.
Conducting screening processes for new and existing members to ensure compliance with due diligence policies, procedures and KPIs.
Overseeing analysis, evaluation and assessments of risk rating and recommending ratings in accordance with Function Authority Matrix.
Carrying out analysis, evaluation and assessment in response to service requests in accordance with policies, procedures and Function Authority Matrix.
Analysis, evaluation and assessments of Know Your Customer documents in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Identifying any suspicious activity pertaining to applicants and/or existing members.
Assisting Team Leader - Due Diligence and Senior Officer - Due Diligence in performing enhanced due diligence for high-risk clients.
Providing support and advice to Member Success and Operations representatives in respect of service requests.
