Officer - Performance Assurance Waste Management & Environment
The team works in real time to make sure the right people are in the right place airside and landside to meet demand. As our airports are the world's busiest, it's fast-paced and a real challenge. They see that the operational plan is followed, and issues are dealt with across terminals, regular operations, incidents and crisis handling. The operation must be industry-leading, and it always is.
What You'll Deliver
- You'll ensure waste services provider meets agreed performance standards across facilities by monitoring disposal practices, maintaining compliance with waste management procedures, and ensuring waste containers are in good condition and aligned with safety and operational guidelines.
- You'll manage FOD initiatives to ensure regulatory compliance while reviewing, preparing, and updating operator schedules and work assignments, ensuring proper implementation and adherence by staff.
- You'll oversee the proper use, maintenance, and inspection of machinery and equipment; ensure timely completion of maintenance, adherence to procedures, and active participation in departmental and cross-functional meetings and training.
- You'll support financial and operational efficiency by assisting in budget preparation, monitoring expenditures, suggesting cost improvements without compromising standards, and producing reports and presentations as required.
What You Bring
- You'll be educated to a bachelor's degree level specialized in waste management or a related field.
- You'll have at least 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- You'll have knowledge of best waste management practices and soft services.
