Job Title : Officer, School Outreach and Al-Ibtikar Programmes

Job Purpose

To plan, coordinate, and deliver school-facing STEM outreach and Al-Ibtikar programmes, including bootcamps, mentorship cohorts, laboratory and maker activities, competitions, teacher workshops, and campus visits. The role will manage programmes end-to-end, from school and participant coordination through delivery, safeguarding, stakeholder engagement, and outcome reporting, contributing to the development of a strong STEM pipeline and enhancing the organisation s presence across the UAE school sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver school outreach and Al-Ibtikar programmes.
• Coordinate with schools, teachers, STEM coordinators, students, and parents.
• Develop programme activities with faculty, laboratory staff, and mentors.
• Manage applications, participant records, consent, attendance, transport, and certification.
• Ensure safeguarding, safety, supervision, and duty-of-care requirements.
• Recruit, train, and coordinate mentors, volunteers, and facilitators.
• Coordinate facilities, equipment, laboratories, catering, transport, and IT requirements.
• Prepare programme and promotional materials in coordination with relevant teams.
• Manage vendors, quotations, procurement, invoices, and programme budgets.
• Maintain CRM records and prepare programme participation and outcome reports.
• Collect feedback and evaluate programme reach, quality, and impact.
• Maintain programme documentation, risk assessments, and operating procedures.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Science, Education, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years experience in STEM outreach, school engagement, education, or youth programme management.
• Experience working with schools in the UAE and knowledge of the local education sector.
• Understanding of safeguarding and duty of care for minors.
• Experience in programme coordination, budgeting, procurement, and reporting.
• Experience facilitating STEM or educational activities for students and teachers.
• Familiarity with CRM and participant management systems such as Zoho or HubSpot.
• Excellent English communication and organisational skills.
• Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel across the UAE and work occasional evenings/weekends.
