Offshore Marine - Vessel Chartering & Business Development Executive

IGM Ship Management (An affiliate of Nordic Hamburg Group)

Reports to: Commercial Manager

IGM Ship Management operates a modern fleet of Offshore Support Vessels serving the global energy sector. We are looking for a commercially driven Business Development & Chartering Executive to strengthen our Dubai team and play a key role in maximizing fleet utilization, securing profitable charters, and expanding client relationships across key markets

This is a hands-on commercial role ideal for someone with solid offshore vessel chartering experience, strong market networks, and sharp negotiation skills

What you will be doing

  • Support end-to-end vessel chartering activities from market sounding and tendering to negotiation and fixture
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with oil & gas operators, offshore contractors, and brokers
  • Identify chartering opportunities and secure profitable contracts (time, spot, and project charters)
  • Assist in developing commercial strategies to optimize vessel utilization and day rates
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and prepare market intelligence reports
  • Coordinate tender submissions (RFQs/RFPs) with Operations, Technical, HSEQ, and Finance teams
  • Represent IGM at industry events and support business development initiatives
  • Maintain post-fixture client relationships to secure repeat business

What we are looking for

  • 45 years of experience in offshore vessel chartering/commercial roles with an owner/operator
  • Proven track record fixing PSV, AHTS, MPSV or similar offshore vessels
  • Strong network within oil & gas companies, offshore contractors, and brokers
  • Solid knowledge of offshore charter parties (SUPPLYTIME, TOWCON, etc.)
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and relationship management skill
  • Experience in Middle East / West Africa markets is an advantage
  • Degree in Business, Maritime Studies, or related field
