Purpose of the position: As
Offshore Methods / Installation Engineer (Senior/Expert) you will be part of the
Eng department within the Abser-Offshore business line. You will support the
Methods team across assigned projects, ensuring compliance with the company, clients, and regulatory requirements.
How can you support us
- Prepare complete installation engineering packages (installation procedures, rigging drawings, checklists, load-out and trial lift procedures, etc.)
- Coordinate with installation analysis teams (naval, structural, pipelay) and review design and analysis reports
- Follow up operational phases including temporary material procurement, vessel mobilization, and subcontractor coordination
- Support offshore and onshore operations during mobilization, testing, and installation phases
- Assist in managing junior engineers and draftsmen for preparation of installation documents
What are we looking for
Education:
- Master's degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in offshore installation engineering (including offshore and yard experience)
Languages: must be fluent in English.
Technical Knowledge
- Good knowledge of offshore T&I standards (DNV, API)
- Proficiency in MS Office (including Microsoft Project)
- Strong coordination and communication skills
What else should you know
You will have the opportunity to work on challenging offshore and onshore projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and abroad. Travel to multiple project locations if required.
