Purpose of the position: As
Offshore Quality Engineer you will be part of the
HSEQ department within the Abser-Offshore business line. You will support the Quality team across assigned projects, ensuring compliance with the company, clients, and regulatory requirements.
How can you support us
- Ensure that Project/Site Quality plans and procedures are properly implemented on site during operations.
- Report to the upper Quality referent on any Quality issues occurred on site.
- Liaise continuously with the workforce and supervision on Quality issues.
- Conduct internal Quality inspections and deliver Quality induction and training, while keeping Quality procedures updated for specific tasks.
- Monitor Quality procedures implementation on operational sites, ensuring compliance with safety risk assessments and effective reporting of Quality performance indicators.
What are we looking for
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline (Engineering or equivalent)
- Minimum 0–3 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates under SITP are acceptable)
- Basic knowledge of Quality / HSE management systems
- Quality: ISO 9001 awareness (preferable )
- Quality: ISO 9001 awareness (preferable )
- Familiarity with construction or oil & gas project environments is preferred
Technical Knowledge
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
- Ability to work on onshore and/or offshore sites, as required by the project
- Computer literacy (MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
What else should you know
You will have the opportunity to work on challenging offshore and onshore projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and abroad. Travel to multiple project locations if required.
