Job Purpose

The primary purpose of the One-Man Crew at the Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Competitiveness Center (IECC) is to produce high-quality visual and multimedia content that effectively communicates and promotes the center's initiatives, programs, startups, and SMEs.

This role is responsible for managing the full media production cycle, including photography, videography, live streaming, and post-production editing. The One-Man Crew ensures that all visual content aligns with IECC's branding and communication standards, enhancing the visibility and impact of IECC's projects and activities.

Through creative storytelling and technical expertise, the role supports IECC's efforts to document key events, highlight success stories, and deliver engaging content across various communication platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Capture professional photographs and videos for IECC events, workshops, training sessions, and program activities.
  • Document major events, including pitching sessions, demo days, ceremonies, panels, graduations, and announcements.
  • Take professional portrait photos with white backgrounds suitable for profiles and official documentation.
  • Record high-quality video and audio using tripod setups or multi-camera arrangements for long sessions and presentations.
  • Film engaging video clips that capture the energy and story of IECC events and programs.
  • Produce promotional videos for startups and SMEs, including pre-production meetings to align on creative direction.
  • Record video testimonials featuring beneficiaries sharing their experiences and success stories.
  • Develop short-form videos and reels suitable for digital and social media platforms.
  • Manage and execute live streaming of IECC events on platforms such as Facebook, Zoom, and YouTube.
  • Ensure high-quality audio, video, and streaming performance during online and hybrid events.
  • Review raw footage and select the most relevant clips aligned with project objectives.
  • Edit recorded footage into a professional final product suitable for broadcasting and digital publishing.
  • Apply advanced editing techniques, including color correction, color grading, sound editing, and transitions.
  • Incorporate graphics, animations, subtitles, and special effects where needed.
  • Synchronize audio and visuals and add background music or voice-overs when required.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to incorporate feedback and improve content quality.
  • Participate in content planning, storyboarding, and creative discussions.
  • Ensure that all visual content aligns with IECC's branding guidelines and marketing objectives.
  • Export final content in formats optimized for social media, websites, and presentations.
  • Organize and archive project files, footage, and media assets for easy access and future use.
  • Maintain and manage production equipment and shooting logistics.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Media Production, Film, Communication, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of proven experience in photography, videography, and professional video editing.
  • Demonstrable portfolio showcasing event documentation, promotional videos, and multimedia storytelling.
  • Very good command of written and spoken English.
  • Good command of MS Office applications, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Experience with photo editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
  • Familiarity with live streaming technologies and media production tools.
  • Strong ability to work under tight deadlines and dynamic event environments.
  • Strong organizational skills for archiving and managing media files.
  • Good understanding of branding and marketing principles to ensure alignment with IECC's communication strategy.
