Openshift Administrator

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced OpenShift Administrator with 5 years of expertise in managing and optimizing OpenShift environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying, maintaining, and supporting OpenShift clusters to ensure high availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and manage OpenShift clusters, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Monitor and troubleshoot OpenShift environments, addressing issues related to pods, services, and networking.

Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using OpenShift tools and integrations.

Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment and scaling.

Automate operational tasks using scripting and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Helm).

Ensure security best practices are followed across the OpenShift environment.

Document processes, configurations, and operational procedures for OpenShift.

Qualifications:

5 years of experience as an OpenShift Administrator or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of OpenShift and Kubernetes architecture and concepts.

Proficient in containerization technologies and related tools (Docker, Helm).

Experience with CI/CD practices and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).

Solid understanding of networking, storage, and security in a containerized environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud environments.

Relevant certifications (e.g., Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration) are a plus.

Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and logging solutions (ELK Stack).
