Job Description

Purpose of the job:

Responsible for supporting the implementation and strengthening of the company's operational resilience framework and policies. This includes ensuring that a consistent framework is in place to systematically identify, measure, mitigate, report, monitor and manage the most significant resilience risks. The Operational resilience will also support the effective implementation of the Operational Resilience Policy by supporting in Business Continuity, Third-Party Risk, Crisis Management, and IT Service Continuity activities. This role contributes to safeguarding the organization's ability to continue delivering critical services during disruptions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of the Operational Resilience Policy and related frameworks.
  • Assist process owners in the development, review, and execution of the Business Impact Analysis (BIA) process.
  • Identify key assets based on BIA results (e.g., critical IT applications, essential third parties, etc.).
  • Assist in providing training to Business Continuity (BC) Correspondents on completing the BIA questionnaire.
  • Conduct analysis with Business and Transversal Departments to assess available capabilities for recovery planning.
  • Coordinate and support the execution of Third-Party Risk Assessments.
  • Assist in coordinating risk assessments and contribute to defining and implementing related action plans.
  • Support the Business Continuity Manager in ensuring the proper execution of agreed processes.
  • Contribute to day-to-day crisis management activities within the Entity/Business Unit, covering all locations and operations.
  • Support the coordination of crisis response activities and ensure adherence to established procedures during disruptions.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with operational resilience controls and in tracking related action items.
  • Support the Business Continuity Manager and ITSCM Manager in coordinating and executing IT Service Continuity (ITSC) requirements and associated controls as defined in the Operational Resilience Policy.
  • Work with BCM and business stakeholders to align and validate service continuity requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Academic/Professional: Bachelor's degree in business, Risk Management, Business Continuity, Operational Excellence, or Quality Management.
  • Professional Certification: ISO 22301 certification or knowledge of Operational Resilience framework is an advantage.
  • Work Experience: minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in financial services or healthcare.
  • Good knowledge of business structures and operations in insurance or healthcare (development, dependencies, etc.)
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
  • Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Desire to learn and take on responsibility.
  • Ability to handle deadline-oriented work.
  • Highly motivated.

  • Results oriented.
