Job Description

AOP Marine Agency is looking for a motivated Operations Assistant to support smooth marine operations by assisting with client requests, vessel movements, and operational processes, contributing to efficient and compliant service delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and respond to client communications and queries
  • Support the planning and scheduling of vessel movements
  • Managing hotel bookings and addressing client requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with transportation requests and oversee drivers and related documentation
  • Prepare and provide supporting documents for the monthly FDA reports
  • Coordinate with the company PRO and drivers regarding crew changes and hotel arrangements for crew members.
  • Provide support in handling customs clearance procedures for vessels.
  • Assist in Clearance and Delivery of Ship Spares.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of port operations, shipping regulations, and documentation procedures.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • UAE Driver's License.
  • 2 years minimum experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in coordinating vessel movements, crew changes, and client services.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good with Microsoft Office 365 applications.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and proactive approach to operational challenges.
