Company Overview

Our client is a global leader in environmental services and resource management, operating a highly complex, integrated chemical waste treatment facility in Singapore that provides essential, sustainable solutions to major players on Jurong Island and beyond.

Role Overview

You will be the key deputy to the Operations Manager, taking a leading role in the day-to-day management of this critical facility. Your mission will be to ensure the plant runs safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with all standards by supervising the operations team, troubleshooting process upsets, and driving performance through the OEE framework. You will also lead key operational improvement initiatives, from Management of Change (MOC) implementation to the commissioning of new equipment, acting as a vital link between the operations, maintenance, and engineering teams.

  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a high-hazard process environment (e.g., chemical plant, refinery, power plant, or waste-to-energy facility).
  • Proven experience in a senior or supervisory role with a strong track record of leading an operations team.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of chemical process units, including combustion systems, distillation, and rotating equipment.
