About The Role

As an Operations Associate, you will be the welcoming face of our leisure facilities, ensuring seamless guest experiences from arrival to departure. You will greet guests warmly, provide expert guidance on attractions, shows, and services, and enhance their visit through personalized recommendations. This role involves selling tickets, branded merchandise, and photo products using a computerized POS system while maintaining clean and well-stocked retail spaces. You will manage cash operations responsibly, handle guest inquiries with professionalism, and proactively resolve concerns to uphold our commitment to exceptional guest care. Your contributions will directly impact guest satisfaction and revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

What You'll Do

Guest Engagement & Service

  • Greet and farewell guests with professionalism and warmth, ensuring a memorable first and last impression.
  • Engage guests as individuals by actively listening to their needs and providing tailored assistance.
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and effectively in alignment with company complaint policies.
  • Conduct guest surveys using company-provided tablets to gather feedback and enhance service quality.

Retail & Sales Operations

  • Sell tickets, merchandise, and photo products via computerized POS systems with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Process payments securely, including cash, vouchers, credit cards, digital payments, and foreign currencies.
  • Balance cash registers, reconcile sales, and ensure timely remittance to cash control.
  • Upsell and cross-sell products, activities, and services to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Organize and maintain product displays, restock shelves, and participate in inventory management.

Facility & Safety Management

  • Manage queue lanes, turnstiles, entrances, and exits to ensure smooth guest flow.
  • Monitor and adhere to company cash-handling and emergency response policies.
  • Participate in evacuations (drills or real) and prioritize guest safety during emergencies.
  • Operate in varied weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and outdoor environments.
  • Oversee lost and found operations and locker areas according to company protocols.

Performance & Development

  • Achieve sales and promotional targets while contributing to quarterly and annual inventory tasks.
  • Continuously enhance product knowledge and service skills to deliver superior guest experiences.
  • Assist in ad-hoc tasks as required to support business needs and operational excellence.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Higher secondary education or equivalent qualification.
  • Moderate verbal communication skills with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
  • Basic proficiency in cash handling and POS system operations.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to engage guests effectively.

Desirable

  • Prior experience in retail or customer care roles.
  • Experience handling guest complaints and resolving service issues.
  • Fluency in additional languages as an asset for diverse guest interactions.
  • Advanced cash handling skills or prior POS system experience.
