Position: Operations Manager (Interiors & Landscaping)

Location: Sharjah, UAE

Industry: Interior Fit-Out & Landscaping

Reporting To: CEO

Role Purpose

The Operations Manager is responsible for end-to-end delivery of interior fit-out (including production) and exterior landscaping projects. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while optimizing resources, managing teams, and coordinating with internal and external clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, oversee planning and execution of multiple interior fit-out (including production) and landscaping projects.
  • Ensure highest level of customer satisfaction through quality and timely delivery with the budgets.
  • Manage project schedules, manpower planning, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure quality standards are met across joinery, finishes, and external works.
  • Coordinate with designers, site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure project requirements are met on time, without impacting the project schedule.
  • Monitor project costs, variations, and margins in coordination with QS/Finance.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE, local authority, and client requirements.
  • Conduct regular site reviews and progress meetings with stakeholders.
  • Resolve execution issues and risks proactively.
  • Support business development through technical inputs and feasibility reviews.

People & Leadership

  • Lead and mentor project engineers, production manager, supervisors, and foremen.
  • Drive accountability, productivity, and performance standards.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding of site and technical staff.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Above 15 years of experience in interior fit-out projects in the UAE.
  • Hands-on experience managing semi-luxury fit-out works and landscaping.
  • Strong understanding of joinery, finishes, and external works.
  • UAE driving license is mandatory.
