Operator (CNG)

Job Purpose

u00A0Perform the loading CNG trailer for in line with Companyu2019s operational standards to ensure safe transportation and delivery of CNG from Mother to Daughter Stations.

Job Specific Accountabilities

u2022 Inspects the vehicle/ trailers before loading to ensure that it is good condition and highlight any issues to the Supervisor.

u2022 Perform loading of CNG into trailers in line with daily dispatches to service stations/ daughter stations as per given schedules and ensures loading of correct quantities.

u2022 Conduct safe loading operations and report to CNG Supervisor in case of any emergency or abnormality in loading operations.

u2022 Performs similar and related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

u2022 Collect and record various data related to the process / field equipment in the assigned units and promptly highlight any abnormal operating conditions to Supervisor for prompt corrective action.

u2022 Monitors safety during loading operations. Has full understanding of safety procedures and adheres to safety dress code (wearing uniform, safety shoes and protective headgear).

u2022 Prepare equipment for hand over to Maintenance and then return to service in a safe, efficient and environmentally sound manner in line with defined quality guidelines. Provides support to maintenance crew and associated third party service providers to facilitate effective maintenance activities in line with ADNOC Distribution standards.

u2022 Responsible for carrying out routine checks on equipment for abnormalities, to report defects noted in equipment and coordinate with the concerned staff.

u2022 Ensures that all breakdowns in his area of responsibility are attended to promptly and equipment is returned to service as soon as possible.u00A0

u2022 Follows the emergency plans and evacuation procedures and can use the safety equipment and fire extinguishers.

u00A0u2022 Actively engage in personal and co-worker health and safety to ensure we all go home safe, every day.

HSE

u00A0u2022 Follows the operations emergency plans and evacuation procedures and can use the safety equipment and fire extinguishers.

u00A0u2022 Participate in all the operationsu2019 HSE campaigns, training courses, awareness sessions and initiatives deployment to ensure meeting the objectives per each.

u00A0u2022 Ensure full compliance to PPE and other safety regulations when assuming all the operations.

u2022 Reports all Incidents and Near Misses, immediately to the supervisor.u00A0

u2022 Follows company emergency and the operations group procedures and participates in Emergency drills accordingly. Fire-Fighting Operationsu00A0

u2022 Carry out regular and surprise rounds of critical areas of operation as well as facilities to ensure that fire equipment are in workable conditions at all times and stop/ report unsafe precedents.

u00A0u2022 Inspect, clean and test fire-fighting apparatus, tools and equipment, including hose and hose fittings, hydrants, ladders and hand extinguishers to ensure all firefighting equipment are in good condition and ready to be used when required.

u00A0u2022 Respond to fire or accident alarms from the plants control rooms, determine the approach to fireu2019s location, make the necessary hose connections to fixed fire hydrants, and start firefighting using appropriate fighting tools according to the source of fire.

u2022 Participate in taking emergency actions dictated by the situation to ensure quick and immediate response to the emergency.u00A0

Minimum Qualification

u00A0QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

u00A0Minimum Qualification Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

u2022 Minimum 4 years of experience as Operator in Oil and Gas Terminal etc.

u2022 Ability to maintain gas logistics between Mother and Daughter stations.

u2022 Good Operational and Technical knowledge in all aspects of CNG filling stations.

u2022 Working knowledge of safety systems at CNG refueling stations

u2022 Good knowledge of English language with Good oral and written communication skills.u00A0
