Job Title: Operator - Filling and Packing

Position Summary
The Operator - Filling and Packing is responsible for the efficient and accurate operation of filling and packing equipment. This role requires a strong attention to detail and quality orientation to ensure that products meet the required standards. The operator will work collaboratively within a team to maintain production flow and adhere to safety protocols.
Role Purpose
Operate filling, capping, labelling, and packing lines to meet production schedules and quality standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate filling and packing machinery according to established procedures.
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of production data and equipment performance.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.
- Set up and monitor filling/packaging machines.
- Conduct in-process quality checks and ensure correct labelling/packaging.
- Maintain compliance with safety and GMP procedures.
Qualifications And Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.
- Good manual dexterity and ability to operate equipment safely.
- Basic computer skills for record keeping and production systems.
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and work effectively within a team.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical/diploma preferred.
- Experience in pharmaceutical or manufacturing filling/packing operations is an advantage.
