Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Optometrist at Prime Vision Clinic, located in Al Asimah, Kuwait. The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing and treating vision issues, and providing pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing surgeries such as LASIK and cataract removal. Additionally, the Optometrist will manage and treat conditions like myopia, farsightedness, astigmatism, and keratoconus. The role also includes patient education, keeping detailed patient records, prescribing corrective lenses, and collaborating with our ophthalmologists and other medical staff to ensure the highest standard of patient care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Optometrist with a degree in Optometry
• Experience in conducting comprehensive eye exams and vision tests
• Proficient in diagnosing and treating vision issues including myopia, farsightedness, astigmatism, and keratoconus
• Skilled in providing patient education and managing pre- and post-operative care for eye surgeries
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team of medical professionals
• Proficiency in using specialized optometric equipment and technology
• Commitment to staying updated with advancements in eye care
• Fluency in English; fluency in Arabic is a plus
