Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Test Manager to lead and govern the end-to-end testing lifecycle for a large-scale Oracle Cloud implementation program. The successful candidate will serve as the central testing point of contact, responsible for establishing testing governance, coordinating multiple teams, managing test execution, and ensuring successful delivery across various Oracle Cloud applications, integrations, and business processes.
The role requires strong experience in managing complex enterprise testing programs, stakeholder coordination, quality assurance governance, and release readiness activities within Oracle Cloud transformation environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and govern comprehensive test strategies and integrated test plans covering multiple releases and workstreams.
- Manage end-to-end testing activities including:
- System Integration Testing (SIT)
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Regression Testing
- Performance Testing
- Security Testing
- Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT)
- Payroll Reconciliation Testing
- Oracle Quarterly Release Testing
- Act as the primary testing liaison between business teams, IT teams, Oracle implementation partners, application teams, and third-party vendors.
- Establish and monitor test readiness criteria, test environments, test data requirements, test scripts, and execution schedules.
- Ensure effective requirements traceability between business requirements, test scenarios, execution results, and defects.
- Lead defect management processes including defect triage, prioritization, root cause analysis, and resolution tracking.
- Define and enforce testing governance standards, quality gates, entry/exit criteria, and phase sign-off processes.
- Drive risk-based testing approaches focusing on business-critical processes and end-to-end scenarios.
- Manage test reporting, dashboards, KPIs, metrics, and executive-level status reporting.
- Support release readiness assessments and provide recommendations for deployment decisions.
- Promote test automation practices and ensure effective utilization of enterprise testing tools.
- Ensure consistent testing methodologies across Oracle Cloud applications, custom developments, integrations, reports, and third-party systems.
Required Technical & Functional Experience
- Extensive experience managing testing activities for large-scale Oracle Cloud implementation programs.
- Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud application landscapes, including experience with one or more of the following modules:
- Oracle Fusion ERP
- Oracle Fusion HCM
- Oracle Procurement Cloud
- Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM)
- Oracle Payroll
- Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM)
- Oracle Retail
- Oracle Warehouse Management (WMS)
- Oracle Transportation Management (OTM)
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) / PaaS integrations
- Experience managing testing across:
- Oracle Cloud applications
- Custom-built applications
- Interfaces and integrations
- Reports and analytics solutions
- Third-party enterprise systems
- Hands-on experience with enterprise test management tools.
- Experience with Tricentis Tosca or similar test automation platforms is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle testing methodologies, quality frameworks, and release management processes.
Experience & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
- Proven experience as a Test Manager, QA Manager, or Test Lead in enterprise transformation programs.
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-vendor, cross-functional testing teams.
- Experience leading testing activities for Oracle Cloud implementations from planning through go-live.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with business users, technical teams, and senior leadership.
