Job Description

Next Ventures is seeking an experience Oracle EPM Consultant with solution design experience for a contract role with our client in the middle-east.

Start Date: April

Location: Dubai

Duration: 3 months + extensions

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Oracle Cloud EPM design phase for a transformation programme migrating from Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion Cloud.
  • Run design workshops with finance and business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document requirements across planning, consolidation, and performance management processes.
  • Translate business requirements into Oracle Cloud EPM solution designs aligned to standard Fusion capabilities.
  • Define end-to-end finance and planning processes and how they will operate within the Oracle Cloud EPM suite.
  • Clearly articulate the value of Oracle Cloud EPM features and best practices, ensuring the client maximises the platform's capabilities.
  • Challenge and minimise customisations, guiding stakeholders towards standard Oracle functionality where possible.
  • Where gaps exist, propose practical workarounds or alternative business processes aligned to Oracle best practice.
  • Produce solution design documentation, process maps, and functional specifications for EPM modules.
  • Work closely with ERP, integration, and data teams to ensure alignment between EPM and the wider Oracle Fusion landscape.
  • Provide design leadership and functional guidance to both client stakeholders and project teams during the design phase.

Required Experience:

  • Proven experience as an Oracle Cloud EPM Functional Consultant or Solution Lead.
  • Hands-on experience leading design phases for Oracle Cloud EPM implementations (non-negotiable).
  • Experience supporting Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion / Cloud transformation programmes.
  • Strong understanding of finance transformation and enterprise performance management processes.
  • Experience facilitating client workshops, requirement gathering, and solution design sessions with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate business needs into scalable Oracle Cloud EPM solutions aligned to best practice.
  • Experience managing customisation vs standard functionality decisions and proposing viable alternatives or workarounds where required.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and design documentation skills.
