Job Title: Oracle Finance Consultant
We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBusiness Suite (EBS) Finance Consultant to support and enhance Oracle EBS R12 Financials within a complex enterprise environment. The role involves implementation, configuration, support, and optimization of core financial modules while working closely with finance and business stakeholders to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, and support Oracle EBS Financial modules, including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Fixed Assets (FA)
- Cash Management (CM)
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
- Configure financial setups such as:
- Chart of Accounts
- Ledgers and legal entities
- Multiorg and multicurrency structures
- Banks, payment methods, and receipt classes
- Support periodend, quarterend, and yearend close activities.
- Handle functional issues, incident resolution, and user queries in line with SLAs.
- Support testing activities (SIT, UAT) and assist with golive and postgolive support.
- Prepare functional documentation including BRDs, configuration documents, and user guides.
- Coordinate with technical teams on reports, interfaces, data migration, and enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and financial best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of handson experience with Oracle EBS R12 Financials.
- Strong functional knowledge of GL, AP, AR, FA, and CM.
- Experience supporting implementation and/or production support environments.
- Solid understanding of financial processes such as:
- ProcuretoPay (P2P)
- OrdertoCash (O2C)
- RecordtoReport (R2R)
- Experience with data migration, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Ability to work closely with finance users and business stakeholders.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in government or regulated environments.
- Exposure to Oracle Fusion Financials is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of Oracle EBS technical concepts (interfaces, reports, APIs).
- Oracle Financials certification is a plus.
