Role Purpose
The OD Manager – Talent Management, Compensation & Benefits is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving integrated people frameworks that support organisational effectiveness, workforce sustainability, and long‑term capability building.
The role focuses on talent management, rewards, organisational design, and workforce planning, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy, operational priorities, and regulatory or public‑sector requirements.
Key Objectives
- Design and embed integrated talent management frameworks aligned to organisational and mission priorities
- Ensure competitive, fair, and sustainable compensation & benefits structures
- Strengthen workforce capability through structured career pathways, succession planning, and OD initiatives
- Support leadership with data‑driven workforce insights and organisation design solutions
Key Responsibilities
Organisational Development & Workforce Planning
- Lead organisational design and workforce planning initiatives aligned with strategic and future capability needs
- Conduct job architecture reviews, role alignment, and organisational structure assessments
- Support change management initiatives related to restructuring, transformation, or capability evolution
Talent Management
- Design and implement talent management frameworks including:
- Talent identification and segmentation
- High‑potential and leadership development programs
- Succession planning for critical and senior roles
- Develop and maintain career pathways, progression models, and competency frameworks
- Partner with L&D and HR teams to ensure development programs align with capability requirements
Compensation & Benefits
- Design and manage compensation and benefits frameworks ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness
- Conduct job evaluation, grading, and salary benchmarking exercises
- Support annual salary review, promotion, and incentive cycles
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, labour regulations, and public‑sector guidelines
Performance Management & Rewards Alignment
- Support the alignment of performance management outcomes with reward and recognition frameworks
- Ensure performance, pay, and talent decisions are fair, transparent, and consistent
- Provide guidance to leadership on talent and reward‑related decisions

Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in Organisational Development, Talent Management, and Compensation & Benefits
- Job architecture and role evaluation
- Career frameworks and succession planning
- Rewards and benefits design
- Experience working in large, complex, or regulated environments (government, public sector, defence, security, or similar)
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organisational Psychology, or related field (required)
- Professional certifications such as CIPD, SHRM, WorldatWork, Hay, Mercer, or PMP are desirable
