OTA Manager Job Requirements
The ideal candidate for this position will succeed in this role if they possess strong knowledge of online travel agencies (OTAs), hotel distribution channels, and revenue fundamentals, along with solid technical and operational experience. This role plays a critical part in the hotel's revenue performance and online visibility, requiring close coordination with multiple departments including sales, reservations, marketing, and revenue management. The OTA Manager will be a key contributor to decision-making and will oversee daily OTA operations and assigned personnel when applicable.
Responsibilities
Manage and optimize daily OTA operations across multiple platforms (e.g., Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia, etc.).
Maintain accurate room availability, rate plans, restrictions, and promotions on OTA extranets.
Ensure rate parity and inventory accuracy across all distribution channels.
Monitor performance metrics such as occupancy, ADR, conversion, and revenue contribution.
Coordinate with internal teams to align pricing strategies, campaigns, and content updates.
Support onboarding of new properties and assist in OTA setup and system configuration.
Train and supervise OTA executives or reservation staff when required.
Handle OTA-related issues including overbookings, discrepancies, and policy adjustments.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
Proven experience working with OTAs and hotel reservation systems.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
High level of organization and attention to detail.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
