Role Description The Owner role at Virtus Legal is a full-time, on-site position based in Giza, responsible for leading the firm's strategic direction and daily operations. The Owner oversees case portfolios, supervises legal teams, and ensures high-quality service delivery across all practice areas. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing client relationships, reviewing and approving key legal documents, guiding litigation strategies, and coordinating with senior counsel on complex matters. The role also involves business development, financial oversight, risk management, and compliance with relevant legal and regulatory standards. The Owner fosters a collaborative culture, mentors staff, and drives initiatives that enhance efficiency, client satisfaction, and firm growth.
Qualifications
- Advanced legal expertise in at least one of the firm's core practice areas (e.g., Civil, Commercial, or Criminal Litigation; Corporate Advisory; Employment Law; Intellectual Property; Family Law; Environmental Law; Taxation).
- Strong leadership and management capabilities, including experience supervising legal teams, overseeing operations, and making strategic business decisions.
- Proven client relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust, communicate complex legal concepts clearly, and maintain long-term partnerships.
- Solid business acumen in law firm management, including budgeting, financial oversight, business development, and risk management.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment and a detail-oriented approach to legal work.
- Ability to work on-site in Giza, collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and uphold high ethical and professional standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B) and a valid license to practice; an advanced degree or specialization in a relevant legal field is an advantage.
- Prior experience in a senior leadership or partnership role within a law firm or legal department is highly beneficial.
