Job Purpose:
Participate in 24x7 operations support, including being part of an on-call rotation to promptly attend to incidents reported.
Qualifications And Experience:
- Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience, out of which 4 years operating Mobile IP networks
- Proven experience leading complex migration efforts.
- Deep understanding of:
-Routing protocols: OSPF, IS-IS, BGP
-MPLS technologies: LDP, RSVP-TE, Segment Routing (SR-MPLS a plus)
-VPN services: L2VPN, L3VPN, VPLS
-Huawei Hardware Platform: NE9K & 5K, NE40, S9300, CX600-X8
-Cisco Hardware Platform: ASR 9K, NCS 5K,
-Juniper Hardware Platform: MX480
- Strong hands-on expertise with the above-mentioned hardware platforms, including hardware configuration and maintenance for Huawei, Cisco, and Juniper devices
- Familiarity with network architecture and system integration strategies
- Proficiency in network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, NAPALM, Netconf/YANG).
- Familiarity with IP addressing strategies, service migration workflows, and traffic engineering.
Skillset:
- 10+ years of experience in IP/MPLS network engineering within a service provider or ISP environment.
- Certifications: CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE, or HCIP/HCIE
