Job Summary
Responsible for managing all paint shop processes to ensure stable mass production, meeting safety, quality, and production targets. The role includes equipment management, process improvement, supplier coordination, and training of team members. Involvement in new plant setup, operational readiness, and performance monitoring is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Management
- Design and manage conveyors and automation equipment for mass production
- Supervise installation of paint shop machinery
- Select and request tools for each workstation
- Perform daily inspections and ensure standardized equipment performance
Local Environment and Inventory
- Survey sub-materials in KSA (e.g., vinyl, gloves, cleaning supplies, grease)
- Monitor inventory and supply sub-materials to avoid production delays
- Drive equipment investment plans to improve performance
- Train workers with deep knowledge of production processes
- Inspect quality and equipment condition in the production line
- Analyze inspection results and initiate corrective actions
New Plant Project
- Identify and correct issues during equipment manufacturing and installation
- Verify documents, punch lists, and production requirements for installation
- Coordinate production training by suppliers and facilitate knowledge transfer
- Prepare manuals and machine training plans
- Support local supplier development and employee hiring
- Generate technical reports and work flexible shifts as needed

Job Specificity
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
- Ability to understand mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Requirements
Experience:
- 48 years of experience in an automotive paint shop
- Hands-on experience with pretreatment, E-coating, primer, basecoat, and clearcoat processes
- Experience operating and maintaining paint shop equipment (e.g., robots, booths, ovens, conveyors)
- Familiarity with integration of paint shop systems into overall production flow
- Experience in defect management and quality root cause analysis
- Background in managing paint materials, pretreatment chemicals, and environmental controls
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience
- Cross-functional coordination with quality, maintenance, and production teams
