Job Description

A privately held international company headquartered in the UAE, operating in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector looking for a Paralegal. The organization specializes in global trade of essential consumer products, including food commodities, agricultural goods, and household items.

Key Responsibilities:

Corporate & License Compliance: Assist in tracking and managing the renewal dates for company trade licenses across UAE Free Zones and mainland (DED) up to 10 companies. Prepare checklists and support the collection of documents for renewals.

Lease Management: Help monitor lease agreement expiry dates, prepare simple renewal documentation, and coordinate with landlords/property managers for the renewal process.

General Legal Support: Provide administrative support to the legal team, including drafting simple correspondence, preparing and organizing legal documents and simple contracts.

Liaison & Coordination: Act as a point of contact with corporate service providers, PROs (Public Relations Officers), and government authorities and courts for routine submissions and follow-ups.

Research & Documentation: Conduct basic legal research on UAE laws and regulations under supervision.

Task Execution: Efficiently handle ad-hoc tasks and assignments

Requirements & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in law (LL.B.) from a recognized university.

Experience: 2 years of experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or in a relevant administrative role within the UAE. Fresh graduates with strong internship experience are encouraged to apply.

Knowledge: Basic understanding of the UAE legal system, corporate structures, and government procedures is a strong advantage.

Language: Proficiency in English is essential. Knowledge of Arabic is a significant advantage for dealing with local authorities and documents.

Skills & Competencies:

o Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

o Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

o Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
