Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to support our U.S. immigration team, with a primary focus on EB-5 investor petitions. The role involves drafting and coordinating complex legal documentation, liaising with U.S.-based counsel, and managing client files.

Key Responsibilities

Immigration & Case Management

  • Prepare, draft, and review immigration-related legal documents and affidavits for submission to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
  • Support EB-5 investor petitions, including I-526E filings and source of funds documentation.
  • Track filing deadlines and ensure all petitions are submitted accurately and on time.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and correspondence records.

Compliance & Operations

  • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and assist with implementation of changes into internal processes.
  • Ensure company documentation and communications align with internal policies and applicable laws.
  • Support internal audits and compliance reviews where required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • LLB or equivalent law degree (required).
  • 24 years experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, preferably in U.S. immigration or corporate law.
  • Strong legal research and drafting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Skills & Competencies

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and client files simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with international legal teams.
