Job Description

Job Purpose

The Parts Advisor plays a key role in providing excellent customer service by assisting clients and workshop staff with identifying, sourcing, and supplying the correct automotive parts and accessories. This role ensures smooth operations within the parts department while maintaining accurate inventory and contributing to sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers (walk-in, telephone, and online) in a professional manner and identify their parts requirements.
  • Advise customers on appropriate parts and accessories based on their vehicle specifications and needs.
  • Check availability, pricing, and delivery timelines of requested parts.
  • Coordinate with the workshop and service team to supply parts for repair and maintenance jobs.
  • Process orders, prepare invoices, and ensure timely delivery of parts.
  • Maintain accurate stock records, conduct regular inventory checks, and manage reordering of fast-moving parts.
  • Support promotional campaigns and upselling of accessories or value-added products.
  • Handle customer complaints or returns efficiently while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Parts Advisor or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts, systems, and accessories (Chinese brand knowledge is a plus).
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in parts catalog systems, inventory management software, and MS Office.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a customer-first mindset.
  • Diploma or vocational qualification in Automotive Technology or related field (preferred).
  • Fluency in English (Arabic is an added advantage, if based in the Middle East).
