Volkswagen Group Middle East is seeking a dynamic, experienced Parts Logistics Manager to lead our regional Parts Distribution Centre and oversee end-to-end logistics operations within the Group Aftersales Division.

Main Goals & Objectives
- Manage all logistics operational processes and service providers to ensure optimal service levels aligned with business needs and contractual agreements.
- Achieve all operational targets in a balanced and optimized manner.
- Lead, negotiate, and renew 3PL contracts across warehousing and logistics.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITY
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the VWGME Parts Distribution Centre and logistics partners in line with corporate policies and procedures.
- Manage operating budgets for warehouse and supply-chain providers.
- Lead all areas of parts & logistics including inventory control, logistics cost management, warehousing, customs, import/export processes, dealer support, and order optimization.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of best-practice logistics strategies, policies, and processes.
- Deliver solutions to complex logistics challenges while maintaining high quality and cost efficiency.
- Develop and monitor logistics KPIs in collaboration with VWAG and VWGME management.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, suppliers, transport companies, and customers to optimize logistics performance.
- Provide expert consultation to management on technical and process-related topics.
- Initiate and execute cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure warehouse service provider compliance with VWGME contractual agreements.
- Monitor warehouse budgets and operational costs.
- Lead logistics activities related to warehouse contract tendering.
- Maintain stock accuracy through rigorous control processes.
- Conduct operational meetings with warehouse partners.
- Manage inbound freight provider performance and adherence to VW AG contracts.
- Oversee inbound logistics budgets and costs.
- Review freight rates, negotiate improvements, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Support freight tender activities and escalate non-compliance to management when required.
- Work with VW AG to enhance inbound freight services for the region.
- Ensure transport service providers comply with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Manage transport budgets, rate negotiations, and SOP development for VWGME dealers.
- Maintain deep knowledge of transport operations to support optimization.
- Lead operational meetings and jointly implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with transportation laws, customs regulations, ISO 9001 requirements, and VWAG logistics standards.
- Communicate with VWAG and regional government authorities to maintain up-to-date operational guidance.
- Review dealer ordering behaviour and recommend efficiency improvements.
KEY COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS
For you to be successful in this role, you must possess below attributes:
- University degree in Inventory Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related business discipline.
- 5 8 years of proven experience in logistics and supply chain management within the automotive industry.
- Strong end-to-end supply chain management capabilities from procurement to final delivery.
- Experience coordinating logistics for large-scale automotive movements across regional and global networks.
- Strong skills in logistics scheduling, cost analysis, optimization, and budget management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Working knowledge of SAP and Material Replenishment Planning (MRP) systems.
- Data-driven decision-maker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Clear and confident communicator with the ability to convey logistics strategies to stakeholders at all levels.
- Skilled in managing vendors, carriers, and cross-functional teams to ensure operational alignment.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining service quality and compliance.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal).
