Role Summary

The Pastry Chef is responsible for preparing and producing a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts in a cloud kitchen environment. The role requires strong technical baking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain consistent product quality while following production schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare pastry doughs, creams, fillings, batters, and other dessert components.
  • Bake cakes, pastries, tarts, and other bakery products according to established recipes.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of all products.
  • Follow daily production schedules and instructions from the Executive Pastry Chef or Kitchen Manager.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
  • Monitor ingredient usage and assist in reducing waste.
  • Support the development of new pastry and dessert items when required.
Requirements
  • Professional pastry training or relevant work experience in pastry or bakery production.
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques and dessert preparation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production kitchen.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality products.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
