Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Executive to manage end-to-end payroll operations for UAE and overseas employees. The role ensures accurate payroll processing, compliance with company policies and WPS regulations, and timely salary disbursement.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, validate, and review payroll data from the ERP system and ensure accuracy across all payroll-related reports.
- Process monthly payroll including wages, deductions, commissions, and reimbursements through approved payment channels.
- Review attendance data and ensure leave requests comply with company policies.
- Calculate annual leave, maternity leave, paid/unpaid leave, and End of Service (EOS) benefits.
- Reconcile payroll variances and adjust discrepancies from previous months.
- Prepare bank transfer letters and coordinate with UAE and overseas banks for salary and commission payments.
- Ensure accurate WPS data entry and compliance; escalate issues and coordinate with concerned departments.
- Issue salary certificates and manage bank-related documentation.
- Process payroll deductions including expenses, vehicle fines, salary advances, disciplinary actions, and inventory variances.
- Prepare payroll journal entries cost center-wise in the financial system.
- Respond to payroll inquiries and update the ERP system.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll or a similar role.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent command of English (verbal and written).
- Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
- Ability to improve payroll processes and efficiency.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
