Payroll Officer cum HR - Junior
Job Summary
The Payroll Officer cum HR is responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing while also supporting core human resource functions such as end-of-service benefits, leave settlement, Employee records, HR Software/ERP. The role ensures accurate payroll execution, statutory compliance, and effective HR administration in line with company policies and labour laws.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll accurately and on time, including salaries, overtime, incentives, and deductions.
- Maintain payroll records, employee compensation data, and salary structures.
- End of service benefits, Leave settlement, Employee records, HR Software/ERP.
- Coordination with the Accounts Dept and the Site team for salary processing.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory filings.
- Prepare payroll reports, MIS, site-wise salary reports, and salary reconciliation statements.
- Handle employee queries related to salary, deductions, pay slips, and bank details.
- Manage attendance, leave, and timekeeping systems.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing and labour laws
- Proficiency in payroll software such as PACT preferred and MS Excel.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Confidentiality and integrity in handling employee data
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Human Resources, or related field
- 45years of experience in payroll and HR operations in the UAE.
- Knowledge of statutory compliance and labour legislation.
