Company Description Alameda Healthcare, established in 1999, is a growing regional healthcare network owned and led by Dr. Fahad Salah Khater. The group operates four tertiary care hospitals in Cairo, with two additional facilities currently under construction, bringing the total capacity to 890 beds when fully commissioned. Role Description The Payroll Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. This position is responsible for end-to-end payroll processing for hospital and network staff, including validating timesheets, calculating earnings, deductions, and benefits, and ensuring accurate and timely salary disbursement. The role includes administering garnishments, handling payroll taxes, coordinating with payroll service providers where applicable, and maintaining compliance with local labor and tax regulations. The Payroll Specialist will reconcile payroll reports, respond to employee payroll inquiries, support audits, and collaborate with HR and Finance to improve payroll processes and data accuracy.
Qualifications
  • Strong skills in Payroll Administration and Payroll Processing, with experience managing recurring payroll cycles.
  • Knowledge of Payroll Taxes and related regulatory requirements, including reporting and compliance.
  • Experience handling Garnishments and working with Payroll Services or systems to manage complex payroll scenarios.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel, with attention to detail and solid numerical skills.
  • Understanding of local labor, benefits, and tax laws in Egypt or comparable jurisdictions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to address employee queries professionally and maintain confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated ability to work accurately under deadlines, prioritize tasks, and support cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant diploma or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; prior healthcare sector experience is an advantage.
