At Boutiqaat, we're looking for a Payroll Specialist who will take ownership of our end-to-end payroll operations across the company and affiliated entities. This is more than processing salaries, it's about precision, compliance, collaboration, and creating a seamless payroll experience that builds employee trust.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Accurately calculate monthly payroll, reviewing leave, attendance, overtime, bonuses, penalties, and other variable components.
  • Ensure all payroll data is complete, verified, and aligned with company policies.
  • Deliver accurate and timely payroll execution no surprises, no errors.
  • Process incentives and variable pay components in line with approved policies.
  • Manage salary advances from documentation to deduction schedules.
  • Administer employee loans, ensuring correct setup and payroll deductions.
  • Communicate clearly with employees regarding advances, loans, and deductions because of transparency matters.
  • Maintain and update payroll databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Prepare and distribute detailed monthly pay slips.
  • Respond professionally and efficiently to payroll queries and discrepancies.
  • Ensure payroll processes and guidelines are well-documented and clearly communicated.
  • Review attendance and leave records before payroll finalization.
  • Conduct regular payroll audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Generate detailed payroll reports for Finance, including loan schedules, overtime, leave pay, and advances.
  • Prepare analytical reports highlighting trends, discrepancies, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Work closely with HR to ensure personnel changes are reflected accurately.
  • Partner with Finance to support smooth month-end closing.
  • Collaborate with IT to tailor and optimize the Odoo system.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance payroll efficiency, accuracy, and employee satisfaction.

What You Bring to the Table:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of hands-on payroll experience.

Strong understanding of HR processes and compliance requirements.

Proficiency in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Fluent in written and spoken English.

In-depth knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.

Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.

Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.

A problem-solver who doesn't stop until the numbers reconcile perfectly.
