Payroll Specialist

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to support the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll. The role is responsible for maintaining payroll records, validating payroll transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements, and supporting payroll reporting and reconciliation activities.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a high level of accuracy, and hands-on experience working with payroll systems, preferably SAP Payroll.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process monthly payroll transactions accurately and within established timelines.
  • Review payroll inputs including attendance, overtime, leaves, allowances, deductions, salary changes, and employee master data updates.
  • Ensure payroll calculations comply with company policies and applicable labor regulations.
  • Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data accuracy within payroll and HR systems.
  • Coordinate with HR, Finance, and relevant departments to resolve payroll-related discrepancies.
  • Prepare payroll reports, reconciliation reports, and supporting schedules.
  • Support payroll audits by providing required documentation and records.
  • Assist in processing end-of-service benefits, final settlements, and other employee compensation transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with GOSI, Wage Protection System (WPS), and other statutory requirements.
  • Handle employee payroll inquiries professionally and confidentially.
  • Support payroll system testing, enhancements, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee compensation information.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in Payroll, Accounting, Finance, or HR are considered an advantage.

Experience Requirements :

  • 1–2 years of experience in Payroll Administration, Payroll Processing, Finance Operations, HR Operations, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience working with SAP Payroll is required.
  • Experience in payroll processing within medium or large organizations is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of Saudi Labor Law, GOSI requirements, and payroll compliance regulations.
  • Experience in Retail, Retail Apparel & Fashion, Real Estate, or Software Development industries is considered an advantage.
