Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to manage and process employee payroll accurately and on time. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP payroll systems, strong knowledge of payroll regulations, and the ability to ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process end-to-end payroll for employees on a monthly/bi-weekly basis using SAP.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records, including salaries, deductions, bonuses, and benefits.
  • Ensure payroll accuracy by reviewing timesheets, attendance data, and salary changes.
  • Handle payroll-related transactions such as new hires, terminations, promotions, and transfers in SAP.
  • Calculate and process statutory deductions (taxes, social insurance, GOSI if applicable, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Reconcile payroll data and prepare payroll reports for management and finance teams.
  • Handle payroll queries from employees and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with HR, Finance, and external auditors as needed.
  • Prepare end-of-year reports and support audits related to payroll.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of payroll experience, preferably in a medium to large organization.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Payroll (SAP HCM / SAP SuccessFactors Payroll preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processing, labor laws, and statutory requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level preferred).
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the Saudi Arabia payroll environment (GOSI, WPS, etc.).
  • Certification in payroll or HR systems (SAP certification is a plus).
  • Experience in handling multi-country payrolls is an advantage.
