PE Teacher to join our educational team at
GEMS - TBS (The British School Elrehab). This position offers an exciting opportunity to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and a healthy lifestyle among students through engaging physical education programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver comprehensive physical education lessons that cater to a wide range of skill levels and interests
- Teach various sports and physical activities, fostering teamwork, cooperation, and a spirit of sportsmanship
- Create a supportive and safe environment for students to participate in physical activities and sports
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance individual development
- Organize school sports events and extracurricular activities to encourage participation and build school spirit
- Incorporate health education into lessons, promoting awareness of physical health and wellness
- Collaborate with other teachers to support the integration of physical education within the overall educational curriculum
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field
- Teaching certification in Physical Education is preferred
- Experience in teaching PE in a school setting is advantageous
- Strong understanding of sports and physical fitness principles
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
- Passion for encouraging students to lead healthy and active lives
