About the Role:
The People Operations Specialist is responsible for enabling a seamless, compliant, and scalable employee experience across the full employee lifecycle. This role drives operational excellence in people processes, acts as the primary interface with government authorities, and supports business growth through strong HR governance, data integrity, and process efficiency.
What You'll Do :
Employee Lifecycle & Experience
- Own end-to-end people operations across onboarding, employment changes, and offboarding
- Ensure consistent, compliant, and positive employee experience aligned with company culture
- Act as the operational backbone for employee documentation and lifecycle governance
Compliance & Government Relations
- Ensure full compliance with Egyptian Labor Law and statutory requirements
- Serve as the primary liaison with Labor Office and Social Insurance authorities
- Own government registrations, filings, inspections, and official correspondence
- Oversee statutory payments and regulatory obligations
Employment Documentation & Records
- Govern employment contracts, amendments, and official HR documentation
- Maintain accurate, secure, and audit-ready employee records (physical & digital)
- Ensure documentation integrity across systems and databases
Leave & Attendance Governance
- Own leave administration frameworks and balances
- Ensure alignment with legal requirements and internal policies
- Safeguard data accuracy impacting payroll and reporting
Payroll & People Data Enablement
- Provide accurate and timely people data inputs for payroll processing
- Manage workforce changes impacting compensation, benefits, and reporting
- Partner closely with Payroll Team to ensure data consistency and compliance
Process Excellence & Automation
- Drive continuous improvement of People Ops workflows
- Support automation and system enhancements to improve efficiency and scalability
- Reduce manual interventions and strengthen self-service where possible
What We're Looking For :
Background & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field
- 36 years of experience in People Operations / HR Operations
- Hands-on experience with Egyptian Labor Law and Social Insurance processes
- Proven experience managing government relations and labor inspections
- Experience supporting payroll operations and workforce data accuracy
- Experience in fast-growing, multi-entity, or regional organizations
- Exposure to HR systems, automation, or digital HR transformation
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of employment lifecycle management
- Solid knowledge of HR documentation, contracts, and compliance standards
- High attention to detail with strong data and process orientation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
