Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field, along with a strong understanding of exercise science, nutrition, and overall wellness.
- 2 years of experience as a Personal Trainer.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English language.
- Excellent customer focus and service delivery.
- Presentable and must have excellent hygiene.
- Willingness to work long hours.
- Must have a high level of professionalism, honesty, and integrity and in excellent work ethic.
- Consistently achieving or surpassing daily work targets and goals.
Task Description:- Must maintain constant communication with the Fitness Manager on all aspects of the fitness department and fitness event calendar planning. It is paramount to the success of the Fitness Department for the Instructor to maintain an open line of communication on any issues relating to the to the fitness program.
- Regularly interface with Fitness Manager on the weekly schedule.
- Endeavour to handle guest's complaints. Depending on gravity, report to immediate supervisor or to the Club Manager.
- Promotes all fitness events and promotions within the club.
- Achieves monthly Personal Training (PT) goals.
- Applies induction test of each new member.
- Designs members personal programs after conducting induction tests, checking medical history and setting goals.
- Develops program cards for all members, and for regular members (those who are not personal training members, and/or those who do not subscribe to any other pay-to-play services within Fitness Time centers)
- Follow ups with members on a regular basis to track progress and to offer support and encouragement.
- Monitors and follow up on the member's developed program and should track the member's progress on a monthly basis.
- Updates member personal file.
- Reformulates a newly personalized fitness program based on member's feedback,
- Checks that all fitness equipment and facilities are clean on a daily basis. Deviation from approved / agreed standards should be reported to the Fitness Centre Manager and Housekeeping Coordinator.
- Checks equipment for any defects or malfunctions.
- Reads and understand all club memos and newsletter.
- Be on call to cover for any sickness or holidays for any fitness staff.
- Contacts new members prior to first programs to confirm appointment and introduce yourself.
- Actively promote all fitness programs in the club. The goal is to establish regular usage form all members.
- Maintains all equipment and make sure the gymnasium is hospital clean.
- Assists in tightening and calibrate fitness equipment.
- Conducts updated programs for established members to measure improvement and set new goals.
- Acts as role models in practicing the principles of hospitality and customer service excellence.
- Uses members names as they come in contact with them. Politely introduce yourself when interacting with members you do not know.
- Participates in weekly department meeting to facilitate keeping yourself well informed, to solve problems, and to set goals.
- Ensures that you actively promote club membership sales, assist in different membership retention or sales drive projects whenever they arise.
- Ensures that the club's fitness programming is the best.
- Conducts the outmost professionalism to all members and in house staff at all times.
- Assists the sale team with club tours as necessary.
