JOB PURPOSE
To fulfil all statutory and professional duties of a registered pharmacist, ensure competence of staff, and exercise good management practice through effective use of resources and staff deployed in the warehouse.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Fulfill all Statutory and Professional Duties of a registered pharmacist (Including validity of license, abiding to rules and regulations in storage and distribution of medications and other health authority requirements) to meet authorities requirements of MOH and DOH.
- Oversee the efficient implementation of quality standards, within the warehouse to improve operational efficiencies.
- Investigate complaints on existing products and respond to vendors or customers to solve complaints.
- Assist workers through analyzing and resolving their work issues and train employees in SOPs to ensure effectiveness in application of job skills.
- Train staff on safety topics, quality procedures and business updates on monthly basis.
- Attend and complete all courses / meetings as required by the company to ensure alignment with business needs and warehouse activities
- Maintain healthy stock in warehouses and avoid stock ageing.
- Oversee the cost effectiveness of the warehouse activities. and keep building standards compliant with legislation and insurance requirements.
EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATION & SKILLS
- University degree in Pharmacy, with license from health authority (DOH, MOH).
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience preferably in logistics operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point).
- Detail oriented with ability to support projects and tasks
- Very good analytical skills and problem-solving skills
