Position Overview:
Sharjah American International School (SAIS) is seeking a dynamic and dedicated physical education teacher to join immediately our Middle and High School Girls's Section. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical education, a passion for promoting fitness and health, and the ability to inspire students to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and deliver high-quality physical education lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages student participation and teamwork.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
- Organize and oversee sports events, tournaments, and extracurricular activities.
- Promote health, fitness, and wellness among students.
- Collaborate with other staff members to integrate physical education into broader educational goals.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in middle and high school girls sections.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English (native english speaker or IELTS 6+).
- Strong knowledge of fitness training, sports science, and injury prevention.
- Passion for teaching and motivating students to maintain an active lifestyle.
- Experience in planning and coordinating school sports events is a plus.
