We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Piping Designer with expertise in AVEVA E3D to support engineering design activities for complex piping systems. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of 3D models, isometric drawings, and layout plans in compliance with international standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and modify piping layouts using AVEVA E3D based on P&IDs, equipment layouts, and design inputs
- Generate accurate isometric, spool, and support drawings for fabrication and construction
- Coordinate with other disciplines (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical) to ensure design integration
- Review vendor data and incorporate relevant details into the piping design
- Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts within the 3D model
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes (ASME, API, ANSI) and client specifications
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical input as needed
- Maintain documentation and revision control throughout the design lifecycle
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in piping design, with at least 2 years using AVEVA E3D
- Strong understanding of piping materials, specifications, and fabrication practices
- Familiarity with international design codes and standards (ASME B31.3, API, etc.)
- Proficient in interpreting P&IDs, equipment layouts, and piping specifications
- Experience in brownfield and greenfield projects is an advantage
- Effective communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams
