Job Description

Position Role:

The Planning analyst plays a key role in Production planning, capacity planning & managing the supply of raw materials in line with the MPS. This position ensures On time delivery of finished goods as per delivery schedule, accurate inventory control with no excess or shortage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee production schedules to meet customer demand and deadlines, prioritizing products and workflows.
  • Monitor and manage raw materials and finished goods inventory to prevent shortages or excesses, ensuring timely availability for production.
  • Coordinate the use of materials, equipment, and labor to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Work closely with sales, procurement, logistics, and production teams to ensure seamless processes and communication across departments.
  • Track production progress, analyze efficiency, and report on performance to management, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and issues.
  • Analyze demand forecasts to anticipate material needs and potential production changes.
  • Work as part of the Management team to share ideas and improve operation, recommending, supporting and implementing continuous improvement activities and process and procedure improvements to optimize results and improve quality of delivery, in line with quality standards requirements delivery in line with Company and Customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Planning, Master Scheduling, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing environments.
  • Industry experience in solar, electronics, semiconductor, steel manufacturing, automotive, or heavy equipment is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.
  • Advanced planning, forecasting, and project management skills with high attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in planning tools such as Anaplan and MS Excel; Power BI experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working effectively with cross-functional and global teams.
  • Ability to build, negotiate, and sustain effective internal and external relationships.
  • APICS certification preferred.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, global start-up environment.
