Planning Engineer

We are Hiring : MEP Planning Engineer

Job Purpose:

The MEP Planning Engineer will be responsible for preparing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules for MEP works (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Firefighting). The role ensures effective planning, progress monitoring, resource management, and timely completion of projects as per contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed baseline project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project.
• Monitor project progress, identify variances, and prepare recovery plans.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, procurement, and site teams to update schedules.
• Track manpower, material, and equipment deployment against project requirements.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and clients.
• Support claims preparation, extension of time (EOT) requests, and delay analysis.
• Ensure project milestones are achieved in compliance with contractual obligations.
• Attend progress meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Maintain updated project records and documentation in line with QA/QC and contractual standards.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 10-12 years experience in MEP project planning (preferably in UAE/GCC).

Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Office.

Strong understanding of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing & Firefighting systems.

Knowledge of FIDIC conditions and construction contracts is an advantage.

Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
